This legislation authorizes appropriations to obtain federal financial participation in the medical assistance payments to providers on behalf of Medicaid recipients and to fund the state's portion of cost to expand the Medicaid program under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act unless the federal government does not provide 90% of the funding.
